Aadi Pooram” is a special day which is dedicated to the Goddess. It is also known as “Aadi Poora Mahotsavam”. Hindus in Sri Lanka celebrated the day in the morning of July 25th 2009.The female devotees carried a pot of pure milk on their heads from one temple to another temple on a cloudy day.
